Peter "Pete" Seeger is a famous American folk singer, composer, author, and political activist. He had great success as a member of the Weavers, the American folk music quartet. His career as a mainstream performer was seriously curtailed by the Second Red Scare: During the 1950s and the 1960s., he re-emerged on the public scene as a pioneer of protest music. The Library of Congress named him a Living Legend in April, 2000. Pete Seeger is a Grammy award(1996) and Kennedy Center awardee (1994). Mr. Seeger just released his new CD and children's book.

Mr. Seeger performs with composer, guitarist David Bernz Esquire of Work O' of the Weavers and Dan Einbender, guitarist of the Sloop.
